Today, the final Barber Beast on the Bay race took place at Presque Isle State Park, ending a 12-year run that raised over $900,000 for the Barber National Institute—more than 1,400 participants raced a 10-mile obstacle course with 30 challenges ending at Waldameer's wave pool.

The record turnout marked the largest registration in the event's history and highlighted its impact on community fundraising.
