ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Erie & Crawford counties remain under a lake-effect snow warning until Jan. 1 at 7 p.m. The National Weather Service forecasts heavy snowfall and gusts up to 45 mph, making travel difficult today and into New Year's Day. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ The National Data Buoy Center issued a gale warning for Lake Erie today until 1 p.m. with winds of 30 to 35 knots + waves reaching 7 to 11 feet and occasionally 14 feet, so residents should stay alert to changing conditions. The Erie Times-News
