- ➤ On Sunday morning, veterans and their families gathered at Polish Falcons Club for a free Veterans Day breakfast hosted by the Erie Crawford Central Labor Council — its 9th annual event saw a turnout that doubled last year. - ➤ The undefeated Corry girls volleyball team swept Bald Eagle 25-17, 25-14, 25-15 at Clarion High School on Nov. 8 (PIAA Class 2A quarterfinals) and will face Avonworth in the semifinals on Nov. 11. Maplewood rallied to defeat Frazier 22-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-9 at North Allegheny High School (PIAA Class 1A quarterfinals) and now prepares to play Eden Christian next. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ Last weekend, the World Ninja League held a day-long regional qualifier at Sinai Sports in Erie that featured over 100 competitors from Canada, Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania.
