It's Election Day in Erie County. If you're voting in person, polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. We suggest checking your polling place before you head out. Tonia Fernandez, the county's Director of Elections, said three polling locations changed this election, and voters were notified by mail.

Still holding a mail ballot? You can't hand it in at your polling place. Drop it at the box outside the Erie County Courthouse or deliver it to the Election Office before polls close. We suggest not waiting until the last hour.

  • On the ballot: governor, lieutenant governor, 16th District Congress, state representative
  • Rides: both major parties say they're offering them to voters

The City of Erie will establish an Office of Housing Services in January 2027, focused on affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization and resident support. The city announced Monday that the office will work alongside the redevelopment authority. It follows a civic dialogue with residents, whose top priority was affordable rental housing. Someone may recognize these children and target them in some way.. Are these kids actions appropriate or okay ?? Of course not but a grown adult blasting…”

The Wrap

Billie Holiday and Henry Mancini both have Pennsylvania roots, and so do Mary Lou Williams and Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey. The Keystone Jazz Orchestra played their music at the Mary D'Angelo Performing Arts Center on Sunday as part of PA 250's "Our Jazz Story" program, the start of a statewide tour. Not bad for a Sunday night in Erie.
