- ➤ A man died last Thursday when a forklift pinned him at First Line Coatings on West 12th Street just before 1 p.m. — Erie County Coroner later identified him on Friday as 44-year-old Matt Rogers from Lake City who had worked there for 25 years while driving near a loading dock when the forklift went off the edge. - ➤ MIAC will host the award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir for its 'PEACE' concert on Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center in Erie—tickets cost $25 to $50. Mercyhurst University
