ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Erie fire marshals investigated the cause of a second fire at a vacant East Seventh Street house that was hit by a fire in June when the incident broke out at (2:34 a.m.) on Aug. 28 at (333 E. Seventh St.), damaging the second floor and attic with reports of possible squatters and no injuries reported. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula Inc. is leasing and remodeling the former Walgreens at 4309 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek to open a new retail and donation center by Oct. 1. The nonprofit has hired 4 employees and will employ 25 in total—meeting a busy local need. The Erie Times-News
