  • The Crawford County Fair drew thousands of visitors to West Mead Township on Aug. 23—offering live music, a 4-H robotics exhibition, the Zerbini Family Circus, harness racing, tractor pulls and the Bullride Mania Rodeo for a day full of fun.  The Erie Times-News

CULTURE NEWS

  • The crew of the tall ship When and If work long four-hour watches, sharing meals and doing repairs to keep the ship in good order—each crew member finds that life at sea is hard but builds strong teamwork. They will join the Tall Ships Erie festival, where people can see the unique rewards and challenges of a nomadic maritime life.  The Erie Times-News

  • General McLane-DuBois football highlights reveal the team won the game 56—35, with key plays driving their victory.  The Erie Times-News
  • Sharon football beat Mercyhurst Prep 35-6 on Saturday at home with Terrian White (148 yards, 2 TD), Kara’mez Norris (75 yards, TD) and Ra’Keem Hughes (55 yards, TD) playing key roles.
