  • The Tall Ships Festival will run from Aug. 21–24 and includes detailed driving routes from Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh to 40 Holland St.—visitors can park in downtown lots while EMTA shuttles run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for easy access.  The Erie Times-News

BUSINESS NEWS

  • The new pizza shop Twisted Toppings in Millcreek offers brick oven pizzas made with four homemade sauces, sausage prepared from scratch, and many topping choices—owner George McDannel advises that less topping means more flavor.  The Erie Times-News

  • Erie will host the Tall Ships Erie Festival as it will return to Dobbins Landing from Aug. 21 to Aug. 24 with activities such as day sails, ship tours, and the world’s largest rubber duck — a poll asks residents to vote on what they look forward to the most. The festival will begin on Aug. 21.  The Erie Times-News
