- ➤ The Tall Ships Festival will run from Aug. 21–24 and includes detailed driving routes from Buffalo, Cleveland and Pittsburgh to 40 Holland St.—visitors can park in downtown lots while EMTA shuttles run from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for easy access. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Erie will host the Tall Ships Erie Festival as it will return to Dobbins Landing from Aug. 21 to Aug. 24 with activities such as day sails, ship tours, and the world’s largest rubber duck — a poll asks residents to vote on what they look forward to the most.
