  • Erie city firefighters responded at noon on Friday when a trench collapsed at the corner of East 44th and Perry Streets—workers from Erie Water Works were rescued by their coworkers and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.  YourErie.com
  • A settlement was reached in a lawsuit over the fatal fire at an Erie day care on August 11, 2019 — the sealed agreement may be worth tens of millions after fire investigators linked the blaze to an electrical problem with the only smoke detector in the attic.  YourErie.com
