- ➤ The Presque Isle Lighthouse at Presque Isle State Park has been under renovation to show its original design and now includes a welcome center—Erie residents can also visit the Erie Land Lighthouse, which offers tower tours for views of Lake Erie. - ➤ Erie Downtown Development Corporation began construction on Flagship City Commons by moving dirt for the foundation of a $25 million, 40,000 square foot building — combining office and commercial space between North Park Row and West 5th Street.
