- ➤ The first ever Rides for the Rise: Motor Music Festival will be held tomorrow at Liberty Park with a motorcycle parade starting at West Erie Plaza and ending on the bayfront—registration begins at 10 a.m. at West Erie Plaza and a portion of the proceeds will support local youth programs. - ➤ At a July 16 City Council meeting in Erie, dozens of citizens demanded action and transparency over the ongoing homicide investigation into Marchello Woodard's shooting on July 2—by a state parole agent—as his death spurred protests and calls for accountability. The Erie Times-News
