- ➤ The Erie Zoo welcomed Coconut, a male Linnaeus's two-toed sloth from the St. Louis Aquarium, who arrived in July and was quarantined before moving to a new exhibit near the golden lions. - ➤ Community leaders announced plans to convert the former Washington School, St. Paul Parish Center and Sacred Heart School into housing for the homeless and a community hub, with renovations expected to start in fall or early winter.
