- ➤ Millcreek Township has approved a new Rainbow Bridge Memorial Garden at Scott Park for pet owners to honor pets that have passed on, with Debbie Garcia and Ruth Thompson from the ANNA Shelter leading the project (set to finish by October). - ➤ Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority announced that fixed bus route adjustments will take effect on Saturday, June 7. The changes include the return of the free ride Route 33—Presque Isle Express running Wednesdays and Saturdays this summer, while University Services routes 18, 19 and the PennWest Edinboro Express will no longer run at the end of each semester. - ➤ Vitalant will hold a blood drive on June 13 from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Bayfront Convention Center while Community Blood Bank says the event may pull donors away when local blood supplies run low.
