- ➤ Nine residents were displaced Monday morning when a fire caused by an electrical issue broke out in an 1881 home on East 12th Street—firefighters responded, utility companies shut off services, and the Red Cross is helping those affected. YourErie.com

- ➤ On Friday, May 23, PSP Erie conducted a DUI checkpoint in Erie City that stopped 60 drivers and resulted in four DUI arrests, two felony arrests, four misdemeanor arrests, one seatbelt citation, 15 traffic citations and 14 warnings+ while urging drivers to use a designated driver or rideshare service when drinking.
