- ➤ ECGRA awarded nearly $1 million in grants to early childhood programs to help keep and recruit teachers — Kenya Johnson of Learning Ladder Early Child Care and Asha Graeb of St. Martin Early Learning Center said the awards boost support for educators. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Mercyhurst Prep sophomore Vinnie Feliciano won the PIAA Class 2A boys 100-meter final on May 24 at Shippensburg University's Seth Grove Stadium — he ran 10.85 seconds after qualifying at 11 seconds. His win added to District 10’s strong track performance, which also saw state titles for Sharon's Ondrea Young and Corry’s Nolan Carey. The Erie Times-News
