- ➤ ECGRA awarded nearly $1 million in grants to early childhood programs to help keep and recruit teachers — Kenya Johnson of Learning Ladder Early Child Care and Asha Graeb of St. Martin Early Learning Center said the awards boost support for educators. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Mercyhurst Prep sophomore Vinnie Feliciano won the PIAA Class 2A boys 100-meter final on May 24 at Shippensburg University's Seth Grove Stadium — he ran 10.85 seconds after qualifying at 11 seconds.
