- ➤ On Saturday, Fort LeBeouf’s Mason Friedman won gold in the 2A boys shot put at the PIAA championships at Shippensburg University; he achieved a throw of 61-0.5 to beat Kevin Mahoney. The top-seeded senior Bison outperformed competitors despite a slow start. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ Fort LeBeouf senior Blake Glass won the Class 2A boys 800-meter run at the PIAA Championships on Saturday, May 23 at Shippensburg University, finishing in 1:53.08 (two seconds ahead of Quaker Valley's Jonah Montagnese) in his final state race. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ Corry's Blake Cook won the PIAA Class 2A state gold medal in the 110 hurdles at Shippensburg's Seth Grove Stadium on Saturday, May 23—he finished in 14.08 seconds under heavy rain conditions. The Erie Times-News
