- ➤ Visitors to Presque Isle State Park must follow rules to keep the beaches safe—swimming is allowed only at guarded beaches and wading is limited on unguarded ones—and the park bans alcohol, restricts smoking to designated areas, and requires pets to be leashed. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Millcreek Township School District filed a lawsuit in Erie on May 16 to recover almost $76,000 from Cornerstone Technologies Inc.—a Georgia company that picked up nearly 1,000 surplus technology items in August but never paid as agreed.
