- ➤ Early Bird Energy will soon open a drive-through on West 26th Street that will sell energy drinks & dirty sodas to local residents. The new business is set to provide a quick refreshment stop for Erie locals. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ MIAC has unveiled its 2026 to 2027 season featuring headline performances by Chris Botti (Aug. 28), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Sept. 30), Black Violin (Nov. 10), and David Archuleta (Dec. 8) at Mercyhurst University's Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center and Walker Recital Hall, with masterclasses and membership benefits (renew by June 5). - ➤ CAFE announced headliners Arrested Development, Plain White T’s and Al Jardine and The Pet Sounds Band for CelebrateErie — a downtown festival from Friday, Aug. 14 to Sunday, Aug. 16. - ➤ A 2025 Erie County survey found that one in three students felt depressed, 31% experienced bullying, and one in four used alcohol. The study highlights challenges in student well-being that suggest a need for increased support from educators and community leaders. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Harbor Village in Harborcreek is leasing apartments and townhomes under construction on 25 acres off Buffalo Road (between the Township Municipal Building and Walmart).
