  • AAA warned that gas prices will rise this summer as travel nears, with Erie motorists likely to see prices follow the regional trend despite local averages being about two cents lower than the $3.60 per gallon seen across western PA. AAA explained that the switch to summer blends—costlier to produce—and rising global demand will push prices up further, making Pennsylvania one of the top 10 most expensive gasoline markets.  YourErie.com
