- ➤ The Barber National Institute will host the new Lake Erie Odyssey adapted obstacle course for teens and adults with disabilities on Sept. 12 at Waldameer Park — the mile-long course features varied obstacles where participants choose their challenge level. - ➤ The Erie Indemnity board elected Jonathan Hirt Hagen on Apr. 19 as the new chairman as longtime chairman Thomas Hagen (90) stepped into an emeritus role. Jonathan, who previously served as vice chairman, will lead the board without managing daily operations. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ The Fort LeBoeuf School Board voted to renovate Waterford Elementary at its April 23 meeting, setting plans in motion to upgrade the facility for local students and families. The Erie Times-News
