  • The West Mead #2 Volunteer Fire Department hosted its sixth Fish Fridays event at its social hall where residents enjoyed hot meals — including baked and fried fish and lasagna — and met local firefighters while serving at least 200 meals nightly. During week five, the department responded to a call for a structure fire in Cambridge Springs and community members helped out.  YourErie.com
  • Over 90 local small businesses present handmade items at Bayfront Convention Center for the Spring Craft & Gift Festival. The event continues today from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. — shoppers can choose unique crafts for Mother’s Day gifts and spring decor.  YourErie.com

  • Erie's first Crumbl Cookies at 6839 Peach Street—known for its iconic pink box and rotating menu—will open on May 2 and is hiring crew members and shift leads.
