CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Stained glass pieces — celebrating the resurrection at Easter — are on display at St. Casimir, Gannon University's Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel, and the Episcopal Cathedral in Erie. The exhibits give residents a chance to see historic art as Easter approaches. The Erie Times-News
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The Fly Erie Fund has lowered the airport’s fixed cost per enplaned passenger from $27 to $10 and spurred airlines like American, United and Breeze to resume flights with new service starting Nov. 18. Airport officials are also in talks for adding routes to Las Vegas and Fort Myers (Florida) as travel demand grows. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Mercyhurst University and Allegheny College launched a 4+1 program that lets Allegheny students start graduate education in Secondary or Special Education in about one year after completing their bachelor's degree. Eligible students with a 3.0 GPA can begin graduate coursework the summer after graduation. Mercyhurst University

- ➤ Lynx Medical (at 2205 E. 33rd St.) is the new owner of the former Cosmed facility, which has shown a decline in EtO emissions. The Erie Times-News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The U.S. Census Bureau reported in March that Pennsylvania's population grew 0.4% from 2020 to 2025, driven by net migration despite losses in 41 counties. Seven counties gained 10,000+ new residents, while Philadelphia and Allegheny lost more than 25,000 each. The Erie Times-News
