- ➤ On March 28, a Pennsylvania man named Corey Clark of Punxsutawney was arrested at a Krispy Kreme on Upper Peach Street after a camera was found hidden in the men’s bathroom—he posted bail and will appear in court on April 9 on charges of invasion of privacy, attempted invasion of privacy and possession of an instrument of a crime. - ➤ Erie gas prices averaged $3.45 per gallon on Sunday with the lowest rate at $3.09 and highest at $3.49. Experts say prices may rise further in mid-to-late April—refinery issues and the threat of tariffs—prompting drivers to fill up soon. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ PennDOT crews began patching holes on I-79 northbound between the Albion/Edinboro and I-90 interchanges Monday morning and will work around the clock until finished—drivers should expect delays due to single-lane restrictions in southern Erie County. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ Erie County Council overrode Davis’s veto with a vote of five to two on March 11 — after Davis’s IT management caused delays during a troubled November election that hindered county support. The council will now use the court’s IT staff — who already assist other county offices and will add two workers to handle election tech duties. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ The Erie County Department of Health is investigating a confirmed measles case in a child and is contacting people who visited UPMC Children’s Express, Creative Learning Childcare, and Fitness U- from March 25 to March 28—officials say this contact tracing aims to prevent further spread. Health officials advise anyone exposed to watch for symptoms such as rash, cough, high fever, or runny nose for 21 days and to call a health care provider if signs appear. TalkErie.com
- ➤ Erie County health officials confirmed a third measles case when a child diagnosed on Sunday had visited an Erie pediatric urgent-care center and a Millcreek Township childcare facility.
