  • Strong winds on March 15-16 damaged power lines and trees across Erie County, leaving about 3,600 customers without power as of Monday noon. Penelec crews are working to repair outages and residents face lake-effect snow forecast to add 6 to 10 inches—especially south of I-90—as the storm winds down.  The Erie Times-News
