- ➤ Governor Shapiro and lawmakers introduced the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit on Friday, Mar. 13 to offer $193 million in tax relief to nearly 940,000 Pennsylvanians who qualify for the federal EITC (the credit is automatically calculated when filing both state and federal returns) as part of a broader tax relief plan.
