- ➤ Erie hosts over 20 Easter egg hunts for children, adults, and dogs this season with events today and later in March and April at venues including YMCA of Corry, Pleasant Ridge Park, and Burch Farms (registration required for some). The Erie Times-News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Erie VA Medical Center (135 E. 38th St.) will close its main entrance from April 6 to Dec. 31 for an $18.5 million primary care clinic renovation. Patients must use alternate entries at the nearby urgent care center or the second-floor rear door, and traffic patterns will change on March 21. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ The USPS clarified that mail dropped in collection boxes will no longer receive same-day postmarks due to a new transportation policy that may delay documents processed in Pittsburgh (processing center). Erie residents should visit post offices for a free manual postmark to ensure time-sensitive mail is properly dated. The Erie Times-News
