- ➤ The Corry Higher Education Council received a $4,000 PA Humanities grant to launch the Rain Poetry project, which will offer poetry workshops for youth (8-18) led by poet (Mabeline Howard) and turn rainy days into creative moments on sidewalks. - ➤ A photo exhibit shows the Cell Block nightclub, a once-bustling venue at 1213 State St. that hosted downtown events from 2005 until it closed in 2014. The retrospective offers a glimpse into an important part of Erie’s nightlife history. The Erie Times-News
