  • Erie Times-News has released photo galleries of closed local schools and will add more images throughout the year. The online galleries showcase sites like St. John Kanty Prep (closed in 1980) and Blessed Sacrament School (closed in 2025) so residents can revisit historic education landmarks.  The Erie Times-News
