- ➤ District 10 high school wrestlers secured 42 spots for the state meet after winning all but two weight classes at the Sharon tournament on Feb. 27-28 — Erie County earned 18 qualifications with top finishes from Cathedral Prep, Reynolds and Grove City, and first-time qualifiers set to compete in Hershey. - ➤ Northwestern's girls basketball team won back-to-back District 10 titles, adding a milestone to their season (official game reports confirmed the win) during the district finals. The Erie Times-News
- ➤ Ten Erie County high school wrestlers qualified on Feb. 28 for the PIAA Class 2A tournament in Hershey — General McLane and Cathedral Prep each had three new qualifiers while North East, Seneca, Fort LeBoeuf and Corry added one; they will join returners in the upcoming meet. The Erie Times-News
