- ➤ Ernie the horse was rescued from icy, muddy conditions on Edinboro Lake after falling through ice on Feb. 16 near his farm as Edinboro and Lake City rescue teams + Lake Shore crews worked together to pull him to safety and a veterinarian confirmed he is in good condition. The Erie Times-News
