CULTURE NEWS

  • Mercyhurst Theatre presents a fresh take on Shakespeare’s 'As You Like It' with a folk-pop score and an uplifting message of community. The show will run from Feb. 26-28 (7:30 p.m.) and March 1 (2 p.m.) at Taylor Little Theatre on the Mercyhurst campus.  Mercyhurst University

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Starting Jan. 31, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center will host the 'Wetland Wonders at Presque Isle' exhibit, showcasing interior wetlands through interactive displays on wildlife and habitat restoration. The free exhibit runs until May 30—an opening celebration is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 301 Peninsula Drive.  The Erie Times-News

  • USPS warned Erie residents to keep driveways and walkways clear for mail delivery after heavy snow and hazardous conditions from Storm Fern on Jan. 29 + freezing temperatures through the weekend may slow mail and package processing in affected areas.  The Erie Times-News

  • Mercyhurst confirmed that head football coach Ryan Riemedio departed after reports he accepted a defensive coordinator role at Youngstown State. The athletics department began its national search for a new head coach.  The Erie Times-News
