- ➤ Erie entrepreneurs will combine Modular Engineering, Corporate Glass, and M-E Construction under Nine Ships Company to build a 60,000 sqft headquarters at 1318 East Lake Road on a former paper plant site. The $12 million project will add 80 jobs while keeping 90 current roles. TalkErie.com
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Mercyhurst University marked its 100th anniversary yesterday as it launched a strategic review to align academic programs with current enrollment realities. The school offered faculty a voluntary retirement incentive program and may take additional contract actions during its leadership transition. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Northwestern High School wrestling sisters Cydney and Charli Rea excel with distinctive styles and superb records this season; the veteran and rising star support each other on and off the mat to inspire new talent.
