- ➤ Highmark and Second Harvest Food Bank NWPA launched the UnHungry Initiative to fight food insecurity by strengthening community programs with 15 food partners this holiday season. - ➤ Beloved MIAC artist Melissa Errico will perform her new holiday concert 'The Secret Diary of Mrs. Santa' at Mercyhurst University's Walker Recital Hall on Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m.—she will join pianist Billy Stritch as they blend classic holiday tunes with fresh twists. Mercyhurst University

- ➤ Weird Al Yankovic will perform his Bigger and Weirder Tour at Erie Insurance Arena on July 8, 2026—a show where fans will get to hear his famous hits and new songs during a live performance. - ➤ On Tuesday, the PA Fish — Boat Commission conducted its first steelhead trout spawning at Avonia Beach along Trout Run by combining eggs from five females with milt from three males to create the next generation of fish. The fertilized eggs will hatch at Fairview State Fish Hatchery in about 21 to 30 days, with the trout then returned to the stream for future spawning. YourErie.com
