- ➤ Onkwani — an 11½-year-old male caracal who had lived at the Erie Zoo since 2014 — was euthanized on April 16 after a heart-based mass affected his quality of life. - ➤ Two Erie County residents were accused of breaking into a Cranberry Township home on March 24 and March 25 and stealing 19 guns valued at over $51,000—authorities recovered the stolen guns from each suspect and charged them with felony burglary and theft. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Travelers 18 and older must have a Real ID—state-issued documents with a federal compliance star—by May 7 to fly domestically, or they risk delays. Grants Specialist
The Sisters of St. Joseph Neighborhood Network (SSJNN) seeks a dedicated and meticulous Grants Specialist to lead and expand our grant funding efforts. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Grants Specialist will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals and reports, and maintaining grant contract compliance. This position will work closely with fundraising, accounting and program staff and should enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and demonstrate the ability to embrace SSJNN’s mission to empower richly diverse and historically disadvantaged neighborhoods. This is a full-time, on-site position. Compensation of at least $25.00/hour, with a generous benefits package.
