- ➤ Two Erie men were charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and firearm discharge after police say they fired into an occupied house on April 4 at about 1:15 p.m. on Linwood Avenue—shell casings were found and a running Jeep parked nearby while no one was injured. The Erie Times-News

- ➤ Erie County declared a measles outbreak after two new cases were identified as direct exposures to a case reported March 30—bringing the total to five—and marking the first confirmed outbreak since 1991.
